One of the coffee shops with the best ambiance I’ve seen so far. Enjoy the homey and relaxed neighborhood vibe instead of the busy commercial energy from other more well known shops. I could imagine myself spending an afternoon here, finally making that novel or the script / show bible I’ve always intended to write.
It’s filled with trinkets for display. You’ll find something interesting at every corner. It’s just across the Santo Niño Parish Church at Juan Luna St, Downtown, Tacloban City, Leyte.

I didn’t touch it!!

The second floor had tea cups, typewriters, and other tools on display. Too bad it was too early and the air conditioning wasn’t open yet on this area. We just took some photos and went back to our seats at the ground floor which was just as decorated as the second floor.

Christmas village display
Full of classic and oddly shaped tea kettles, the display cabinet beside us is a good conversation piece. Another corner houses the Christmas village collection. It would be nice if that lights up and moves.

handmade yellow airplane decor
do they actually fill this up?
Taking a break, looked up and saw a hand made airplane decor casually hanging with the ceiling lamps.
For our food and drinks:
- Cafe Greco (why didn’t I ask what was in it?) – Can’t seem to find a straight definition on what it is…Based on my limited knowledge on coffee, it is kind of a latte, with foam on top, and sweeter than your usual latte.
- Pili Tarts – candied chopped pili nuts in a tart crust
- Brownie Tarts – tart shaped brownies, not too sweet
- Coffee Cake – something like a Tiramisu (?) but in cake form, instead of using layers of lady finger biscuits. I forgot the exact name but this one is good.
