Ramen and rolls – such a combo right? Now imagine you have a Zomato Gold account and you get buy 1 take 1 perks! Tried out Tori Ichi at SM Mall of Asia some time ago. There were a lot of light colored wood finishings with highlights of red decors giving a Japanses vibe. They also have a tatami room areas (with sliding doors) if you need a little privacy.

The Food:

Dragon Roll

Refreshing mix of banana and cucumber in a roll topped with salmon. It’s different. And I’m not used to having fruit in my maki roll, but it’s still a nice one to try especially if you are into light and sweet flavors.

Rainbow Roll

A rainbow of fillings in every piece – tuna, tamago, shrimp, kani, takuman, salmon, and tempura flakes!

Tan Tan Men

This was good…but still can’t help but compare Tan Tan Men to the one I tasted in Tokyo, at Nakiryu (fave!).

Tonkotsu Ramen

Pork bone broth ramen. Taste is actually pretty okay.
