Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Like in other Bistro Group restaurants, there’s free bread while waiting for your order. But for this one, they serve their Cheddar Bay Biscuits! Make sure to eat this straight out of the oven – when the outside is crusty with hints of saltiness, and the inside is soft and slightly melts in your mouth with all that cheesiness.

Hint of natural sweetness of seafood, and a tender shellfish meat. I have yet to try a better tasting live lobster than this in a local restaurant. Accepting recommendations! Tastes very different from the lobster I found in a hotel buffet. The ones I tried there were already a bit tough, and still pales in comparison even when eaten with butter sauce or chili sauce.

Ultimate Feast

First item in this set is Maine lobster tail. In comparison, the live lobster still tastes better than this. Though this lobster tail still tastes better than the ones I tried in a hotel buffet. Dipping its claws into the butter sauce is the snow crab legs. Others might prefer the local, more sinful version of crab – all smothered in crab fat. Shrimp scampi – scampi is actually a shellfish too, that at some point in time was served in butter. But somewhere down the line, shrimp scampi was used to call shrimps swimming in seasoned butter sauce.

Seafood Shrimp Trio

Composed of Walt’s favorite shrimps, shrimp scampi, shrimp alfredo, snow peas, cocktail sauce. Shrimp lovers out there, this is for you. Walt’s favorite shrimp are pieces of fried breaded shrimp. For your carbs, and still with shrimp, a serving of shrimp alfredo is included in this set. Also, there’s shrimp scampi, you know this one.

Admiral’s Feast

Walt’s favorite shrimp on one side, bay scallops and calamari to the other, and fried flounder in center. Feast for the fried food favorites indeed. If you have a group of kids with you, you could order this one.

Seafarer’s Feast

Popcorns of breaded fried scallops were fun to eat, would be a hit for kids. A steak cut of swordfish meat as grilled seafood for those who want some bite on their seafood. And again, a serving of shrimp scampi. For carbs, you get a side of wild rice with a side of snow peas and butter sauce.

Clam Chowder

Continuing the search for the best clam chowder, we had this soup in a bread bowl. It had a good amount of clam meat but was looking for something more starchy and thick without loosing the seafood flavor. Have yet to find that!

As for the interior, browns and whites are dominantly used. Blues are used as accents. Custom shellfish designed mug and fork handle.
