Talked about as a comeback  of one of the popular go-to places in Makati way back in the ‘90s before it closed shop, Hard Rock café found a new home in S’Maison Pasay in 2018. Now under the Bistro Group of restaurants, you could use the BFF card perks here. List of perks change every year so better read up first when buying or renewing your membership in this loyalty program. In our case, we used a percentage discount voucher for a minimum purchase of Php 1,000

Lunch time – no band was playing on stage, the bar was sleeping, and only another group was dining aside from us. I bet this area is livelier at night with a bonus view of the Manila Bay.

The Food:

Four Cheese Flatbread

Gouda + Mozzarella + Bleu cheese + Parmesan on top of a supposedly crispy flat bread. The cheesiness was good but the hard crust took away some points. Not sure if it was supposed to be crispy like thin crust pizzas, or chewy like sourdough pizzas, but then it ended up being over baked like a thin bread stick? Might give this another try later.

Ribs, Chicken and Brisket Trio

Ribs, Chicken and Pork combination for a sampler of smokey sauced meats. Tender savory sweet pork was my favorite in this set. Ribs were also tender. Chicken surprisingly had a certain different flavor even if it looked like your ordinary roast chicken quarter. Seasoned rice was served on the side and is good for sharing. The coleslaw was pretty good leaving me hoping that there were extra servings of it. Not sure if this set is still in the current menu.

Food choices were kind of resembled Fridays with the meats and burgers and alcohol.
