Weekend Foodie Meet Up! Did you know that Merry Moo Ice Cream has a shop inside Podium’s Corner Market? Look for the sign that says – “Sundays”! Sampled some of their items today.

The Food:

Build your own Sundae

 “Should I go for photo aesthetic? Or should I go for the taste I want?” – the question in my mind at that moment.

Step 1:

Pick your waffle cup flavor – Matcha, Ube, Caramel, and Corn

Since it is color purple, I got the Ube variant. The flavor was quite weak for this one but it is a good backdrop for the ice cream flavors I want.

Step 2:

Pick 3 ice cream flavors – you get a scoop of each in you waffle cup. Mine were:

Almond Lychee – clean and refreshing

Matcha – just the right earthiness

Black Sesame Oreo – chunks of Oreo sweetened the roasted flavor from the black sesame

Step 3:

Choose a topping ranging from candies, nuts, sprinkles and powders

Candied walnuts for me for an added crunch.

Polvoron Soft serve ice cream

A favorite! Just the right milky creamy toasty ice cream flavor. The soft serve machine is behind the counter and ice cream display, so you might not notice it when you pass by.

Other crowd favorites were the cheesy mamon ice cream and avocado ice cream (better than Arce Dairy according to a fellow foodie!).
