Lined up at R&B Tea while deciding on what to order. Ended up choosing one labeled as a best seller – Brown Sugar Boba Milk.
This craze hit home a few months back with every new store putting up brown sugar milk tea on the headline of their menu, and almost every existing milk tea shop coming up with their own version. In between all of that, I never tried a Brown Sugar Milk Tea because it sounded too sweet.
Finally gave in during this Singapore trip though I was fairly warned on what to expect.

Took sip. Boba pearls shot up the straw. Brown sugary sweet and warm, the soft pearls were nice to chew. Mixed it up a bit and the taste of chilled milk and tea blended well with the sweetness. I actually thought there would be no hint of tea in it. Or did I order it wrong? But the item in the receipt was correct. Maybe it’s really supposed to have a hint of tea in there.
