Singapore 2019: [Part 3 ] Garden Rhapsody – Gardens By the Bay Light Show

Running to the Supertrees!!! …and we just ate at Satay by the Bay

*please don’t run after eating

Insider tip: we watched not on the “ground level” but on a semi secret ledge where only a handful of people were watching. Instead of going down the stairs, we turned right, walked a bit, then left towards the plants, then voila! A ledge with a view of the Supertrees! No need to worry about people taller than you blocking your view. It might not be as immersive as when you are on the ground, but we were already a few minutes late on a weekend night show so this was our best bet.

My aunt, who watched on the ground level, said the experience wasn’t as nice as before since there were decors that obstructed the lights from her view point.

Dubbed as Garden Rhapsody, the light show’s songs were generally relaxed, and gave off vibes of wonder and fantasy. I think the songs that night featured local artists as I didn’t recognize a single international pop song. There were about 5 songs and the lights danced in tune to each one.

You could also watch the show on the OCBC Skyway to experience the show from another viewpoint.

We could have gone for a short photo op with the Merlion but we were already tired so we went home.
